The question would be when is a good time to have a fake called on the special teams. This could be either a FG, extra point or a punt?

I beleive the best time to try something lik this is inside your own 30 when th erisk reward factore is at its highest...no team would expect you to fake from there so the element of suprize is greater.

fake field goals only when the momentum is strongly in your favor and your opponent seems to be wearing down phisically and mentally.

I would say whenever you need that mental boost. Any fake is a risk, but football is a game of risk. I would also think the watching of tapes would give some great insight on where the weak spots are.
